NON POINT SOURCE POLLUTION

The Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District sponsors and administors grants from the New York Non Point Source Abatement and Control Program which is funded through the New York State Environmental Protection Fund and the State Clean Water/Clean Air Bond Act. This Program provides cost-sharing for planning and installation of pollution control measures on farms through contracts between the District and individual farmers. It can also fund pollution control efforts in watersheds and/or counties.
